The Youth in Asia
Woops, it’s the 23rd. I fail the 30 day challenge…

But dammit if that means I’m giving up!

Here’s 13 days compressed into one blog.

Day 11: A photo taken of me recently

Day 12: Whatever tickles your fancy

A cool new Against Me! song called I Was a Teenage Anarchist

Day 13: A Fictional Book

Any fictional book? Or one that I particularly like? The parameters of this day are not very well defined. I’ll just go with the Bible.

Day 14: A Non-fiction Book

In honor of Elie Wiesel this Monday, I’ll say Night.

Day 15: Part of a Story

The frozen tips of the Aspen trees gleamed a thousand different ways under the not-quite-full moon. The still wilderness snow was blue except where the single headlight of the ‘95 Jeep Cherokee cast its yellow beam. Ashley’s face was pressed against the frosted passenger window and he could see crystalline ice patterns melting just beyond the warmth of her soft fingers.

Any good? Eh? eh?

Day 16: A Song that Makes Me Cry

I dunno if there’s a specific song that has/does make me cry. It’s more the moments attached to a song that make it emotionally affecting to me. That said, maybe the last Killers album comes the closest.

Day 17: An Art Piece

Guernica

Day 18: Whatever Tickles My Fancy

There’s been a lot of that fancy tickling going on.

Watch Treme, it’s bitchin’

Day 19: A Talent of Mine

I used to debate. Now I make omelettes.

Day 20: A Hobby of Mine

Skinny-dipping, getting banned from BK, and falling off chairs while trying to climb Beckman.

Day 21: A Recipe

There’s this awesome dish called Chiggin ‘n Cherries. If you are actually interested in making it, the process must be taught face-to-face in a dark cavern of the Big Horn Mountains. So, you know just tell me if you wanna learn

Day 22: A Website

AVClub.com

Day 23: A Youtube Video

One of the great swearers of our era:

Yea! Caught up! Keep coming back for more dirty, rotten procrastination.
